Jeremy Heere is just an average teenager. That is, until he finds out about “The Squip” – a tiny supercomputer that promises to bring him everything he desires most: a date with Christine, an invite to the raddest party of the year and a chance to survive life in his suburban New Jersey high school. But is being the most popular guy in school worth the risk?


Street Theatre Company will be holding auditions for Be More Chill on Saturday, June 8th from 9:00a-12:30p with potential callbacks on Sunday, June 9th at 1120 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN.

Please bring your headshot and resume and prepare a 32 bar cut in the appropriate show style. Bring sheet music in the appropriate key (an accompanist will be provided.) No tracks or pre-recorded accompaniment. Please be prepared to provide weekend and evening availability for July 21st-August 23.

Video submissions will be accepted. The deadline to submit your video audition is Saturday, June 8th . Videos must be submitted via email to, and your email should include your headshot and resume.


Non-Equity paid roles for professional actors and unpaid internships will be offered.


Rehearsals will begin on or around July 21. The show runs for 8 performances at 7:30p nightly August 23-24, 29-31, and September 5-7.
