Musical Theatre Camp Registration is OPEN!

 

Join us during Spring Break, March 20-24 for a week of singing, dancing, play-writing, and starring in your own show! Whether you are a seasoned young performer, or just dream of being on stage, this camp will be one you never forget! Our team of teaching artists will guide students in the art of musical theatre and create and rehearse a performance to present at the end of the week for family and friends!

Rehearsals begin July 3rd (no rehearsal July 4th) Monday through Friday for three weeks including performances July 19-22nd.

The world's most famous girl detective is at it again and just in time for Halloween. Based on the popular and beloved children's book by Carolyn Keene, this play follows the story of Nancy Drew searching to uncover who has kidnapped the high school principal. It won't be easy in a hard-boiled world of mounting suspicions and mysterious events, not to mention diva actresses, a stubborn rookie cop, a bossy older sister, and an AV nerd who always adds her two cents!                                                Show Dates:  October 26 through November 4, 2017

CLASSACT DRAMATICS

Street Theatre Company's ClassAct Dramatics program features year-round opportunities for youth to participate in the arts. We offer classes, workshops, audition opportunities, musicals, plays, and spring, fall and summer break camps for ages 5-18 as well as internship opportunities for teens and college age students looking to gain experience working for a theatre company. The heart behind the founding of our youth program can be discovered in the following Core Values:

Erica Lee Haines

Youth Programming Director

Erica Lee Haines is a native of Nashville. She has been Youth Program Coordinator for STC since 2015 and teaching classes since 2010. She worked at Opryland Theme Park as a kid, and knows all about being a performer while still being a kid! After receiving her Bachelor's Degree at Belmont University, she performed with the Broadway tour of “Ring of Fire” and with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. She is also part of numerous recording sessions as a performer and casting young voices for the publishing industry receiving several Dove Award Nominations. For the past decade, she has been teaching for universities, area schools, performing troupes, and children’s instruction resources all over the country.
