AUDITIONS

ClassAct Dramatics of Street Theatre Company proudly presents auditions for Disney's "High School Musical" on Saturday, May 27th, 2017 with directors Erica Haines and Stefani Paige for ages 7-19 years.

You MUST sign up for an audition time. Rehearsals begin July 3rd (no rehearsal July 4th) and continue for three weeks until July 21st, Monday through Fridays from 9am-3pm. Students will be allowed up to two absences during the rehearsal process. Six performances begin July 19-22nd (Wednesday-Saturday at 2pm and also Friday and Saturday at 7pm.) Call time is one hour and a half before show time. There is a $250 production fee, with limited scholarships available. 

Location: Franklin School of Performing Arts, 415 Duke Drive #370, Franklin TN 37067 (Rehearsals and performances will not be at this location).

Prepare: One 30-60 second song in the style of the show, one 30-60 second comedic monologue that is age appropriate, and be prepared to read from the script. CD player and auxiliary input available, no accompanist provided. 

Bring: Headshot and Resume, if available, along with your Calendar and any conflicts in July.

It won't be easy in a hard-boiled world of mounting suspicions and mysterious events, not to mention diva actresses, a stubborn rookie cop, a bossy older sister, and an AV nerd who always adds her two cents!                                                Show Dates:  October 26 through November 4, 2017

CLASSACT DRAMATICS

Street Theatre Company's ClassAct Dramatics program features year-round opportunities for youth to participate in the arts. We offer classes, workshops, audition opportunities, musicals, plays, and spring, fall and summer break camps for ages 5-18 as well as internship opportunities for teens and college age students looking to gain experience working for a theatre company. Erica Lee Haines

Youth Programming Director

Erica Lee Haines is a native of Nashville. She has been Youth Program Coordinator for STC since 2015 and teaching classes since 2010. She worked at Opryland Theme Park as a kid, and knows all about being a performer while still being a kid! After receiving her Bachelor's Degree at Belmont University, she performed with the Broadway tour of “Ring of Fire” and with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. She is also part of numerous recording sessions as a performer and casting young voices for the publishing industry receiving several Dove Award Nominations. For the past decade, she has been teaching for universities, area schools, performing troupes, and children’s instruction resources all over the country.
