There is no doubt that Music City has a lot of entertainment options. Not only that, but in this day and age of video games, streaming video, and social media, it sometimes seems easier to just stay home for entertainment. So why get off the couch and leave the house to see live theatre?
Because the world-class talent you find downtown on Broadway is also right on stage at STC. But more importantly, live theatre does one thing like nothing else: it creates a unique shared experience. A show may run for three weeks or three years, but no two shows are ever the same. Why? Because of you-the audience-and the artists!
